Name of the dog Bodhi Bigley
Sex of the dog Male

Bodhi is approximately 4 year old Bordie Collie X Rescue. When we adopted him, Bodhi was a 6 month old street dog, unsocialized, fearful and chased down cars and bikes and herded everything that moved, including people, family members, often resulting nipped heals, and bruised butts. Desperate to channel his intense personality, high-energy prey drive, we started training Treibball 3 years ago and were lucky to find ATA Board member and creator of American Treibball Training video, Karen Mielke (Statesville NC) to take lessons with. Treibball became a vital and important part in getting Bodhi under better control, building his confidence and trust and becoming a loving part of our family.
Since then....
Titles:
NATE Treibball (National Association of Treibball Enthusiasts). Bodhi had achieved both Outstanding Masters titles in both the Standard Game and Balls in Order Game.
We’ve Competed in World Treibball League 2019-2020 Level B.
Taught Treibball Classes 2017-2019 (ASHEVILLE, NC) created some short training videos and some beginner intermediate challenges.
Former NATE Board Member and Judge.
Member ATA.
Bodhi has become a skilled player and performs at an advanced level (by American standards) and can work at a good distance. We are still learning and growing as a team, developing new skills and always working on his impulse control. Our biggest challenge is balancing his speed and ball control, spinning on send outs and his teenage back talk.
I would love to become a part of a Treibball community that continues to challenge and develop our skills. Over the years, I have used many of YouTube videos from other countries to learn, train and play more interesting and advanced games. I have been continually inspired from watching many of the seasoned teams that are already part of this league and would be honored to be considered a part of it.
